Charter Policies

Important Information About Your Charter

Once we have discussed the various possibilities in terms of a charter yacht, crew, location, date and guest count, then we will proceed with the booking of the yacht. This occurs in stages and is a very easy process.

AGREEMENT AND PAYMENTS

We will prepare and send you a Coast Guard Certified Charter Agreement detailing the yacht, the agreed date, location, cruising area and cost. Upon signing the agreement the first payment is due in the amount shown on the Agreement.

The Agreement is then forwarded to the owner for signature. And a fully signed contract will be sent to you for your retention. The balance of all monies are due in cleared funds 10 business days prior to your charter commencing.

CHARTERER FORMS

To prepare your charter carefully, accordingly to your own individual requirements, we will forward to you a detailed questionnaire which we will need completed 14 business days prior to your event. We will also require your menu selections, beverage special requests, entertainment and decorations to ensure your orders are in place and that all your requests are waiting for you onboard.

SMOKING

For safety reasons, notably the prevention of fire, smoking is only permitted on the open deck areas and not inside the yacht Please check with us for individual restrictions.

DRUGS

Obviously both drugs and weapons are illegal and possession will result in the charter being terminated immediately.

GRATUITIES

We are often asked what gratuities should be given to the crew. Gratuities are a discretionary payment reflecting the service you received, it is worth remembering that the crew works very long and hard to make your event a memorable one. The best guidance we can give is 15% of the charter fee as this is considered fair. However if you have had a fantastic time do not feel restricted by this.
